What our analytics measure (and don't)
This page lists every analytics event this product records, because "we respect your privacy" means nothing without a list you can check. The technical contract is the shared event taxonomy — the summary:
What we record
- Product funnel events: signup started/completed, first inbox open, first email sent, first reply received, PWA installed, notifications enabled, day-7 return.
- Friction events with a code, never content: signup error codes, send error codes, install-prompt dismissed.
- Counts: aliases created, labels created, storage percentage bands.
- Billing surface views (which plan page you looked at) — because we need to know if pricing is comprehensible.
What we never record
- Message content, subject lines, or addresses — not in any property, ever.
- Search queries (only query length and whether an operator was used).
- Cross-site tracking of any kind. No referrer data except on the signup form itself.
- Anything from a third-party analytics SDK. There isn't one in the app.
Why this is safe to publish
The event schema is versioned in code and every event is enumerated. If this page and the code ever disagree, the code is wrong and gets fixed.
